President Ron Lichtle opened the virtual meeting with the Pledge of Allegiance, then we recited the modified Four Way Test. Virtual lunch was served.
David Eardley gave the invocation today, asking members to seek service above self on our Election Day.

There were 31 Rotarians present, 17 attending via zoom, and 1 guest, Andre Wood.

Welcome Andre! 

There was no 15th handshake announced this week.
There were many virtual happy bucks given during the meeting!
Marty McClure gave the Rotarian of the Week award to Bill Ebinger. Congratulations Bill!
Our club will vote on the new club constitution and bylaws on November 17th.
Steve gave the club an update on the Poinsettia Sale. Our goal this year is to sell 1780 bulbs! Let's get to work! 

We also welcomed Vito as a new member of the club. Welcome to the Rochester Rotary Club! 
We had 1 birthday this week! Happy Birthday to Renee Cortright.
We had one club anniversary, David Blair with 6 years! Brian Barnett with 14 years! Roger Roller with 20 years! This would have also been Mel Gay's 44th anniversary with the club.
Ty Sordelet was our presenter for the day. Ty graduated from the Naval Academy with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and a later pursued a Master's Degree in Nuclear Science & Engineering from MIT. Ty currently works with Amazon, and spoke to our club about Amazon's operations in the Detroit area.

Yes, this is a challenging time.  But, we are Rotarians, we will rise to the challenge, and our resilience and power of adaptation will prevail over this.  Thanks everyone, have a great week.
