September 1st at 12pm. We are having our first Rotary meeting back in person at Innovation Hills Park in Rochester Hills! Mayor Bryan Barnett will be there to welcome us, and a boxed lunch and beverage will be provided. Wear comfortable shoes, and take a walk around the park! Please RSVP so that we can get a count on how many meals and chairs need to be provided. Please expect an email from Tom detailing the social distancing requirements.
September 3rd at 6PM at Rivercrest. We are having a socially distanced event outside underneath the big tent at Rivercrest. Feel free to invite a spouse, friend, or a prospective new member! Appetizers will be served by Rivercrest and drinks can be purchased at the event.
President Ron welcomed a new member to the club. We welcome Mark Tisdel back into the Rochester Rotary. Welcome back Mark!
For all in person events and meetings, you will need to follow appropriate social distancing rules. There is a health questionnaire that needs to be completed and remember to bring your mask! (See Tom's email for more details)
We had 6 birthday this week! Angela Delpup on August 27th, Ted Roumel August 27th, Greg Schaefer on the 27th as well! President Ron's son also has his birthday on the 27th. Dave Dulio has a birthday coming up on the 29th, and Mo Sayed on August 30th, and Alan McLellan on the 31st. Happy Birthday Rotarians!
There were no club anniversaries this week. :(
David raised $65 for Rotary!

Kevin Kelly was our presenter for the day, presenting all the way from Lake Michigan via Zoom. Kevin is the major gift officer with the Rotary Foundation and a member of the Rotary club of Northville. His job is to travel the district in order to give updates on the Rotary Foundation. He spoke to our club today about Rotary International's response to Covid-19 and what Rotary Foundation has done to support the local communities affected by Covid-19.

Thank you Kevin!
