President Wayne Hodges opened the meeting with the Pledge of Allegiance, then we sang America the Beautiful, and recited the modified Four Way Test. The invocation was given by Jerry Wankett, giving thanks for Rotary and asking for protection from Hurricane Dorian for those in its path. A check was then presented to Nathan Booth, the winner of our golf ball drop this year. Lunch was served.

We had 45 members present, and three guests, Sharon Reinke guest of Alan, Jennifer Lundy (RAYA), and Debbie Jones (RAYA).

David Walker was exceptionally pleased to give fine protection this week to Shirley Gofrank, congrats Shirley!
HAPPY BUCKS
Renee Cortright was happy about the OPC apple pies, so much that she brought several with her for dessert today.
Jeff Whitbey was excited to announce that his Dixieland band is playing at Arts and Apples on Saturday.
Phil Lowman was happy for his wife Carol, and the Reboot program that she is working with.
Christine Hage was excited about riding her new bike from the Rochester Bike Shop, and her shiny new helmet to help her with her brand new concussion.
ROTARIAN OF THE WEEK
The current Rotarian of the Week decided that she would like to keep the award for another week, adding more dinero to the bejeweled trophy.
ANNOUNCEMENTS
Rhonda came up to the podium to discuss the Rotary Foundation, and how it works.
Tom Neveau gave a grant to one of our named charities for the golf outing, Rochester Area Youth Assistance, a prevention based organization built to strengthen youth in the greater Rochester area. Debbie Jones graciously accepted the check on their behalf.

SHERIFF'S REPORT
David Blair then fined everyone, again! No one was protected, everyone was fined from celebrating the first day of school to bootleg hooch to moving technique to primary school learning (dangling participle anyone?), raising $168 for our charities.
PROGRAM
David Eardley then introduced our speaker of the day, Angela DelPup. Angela spoke to us about Crittenton Hospital and how they are changing to meet what the community needs. Excellent information, thanks very much for speaking to us today.
