President Wayne Hodges opened the meeting with the Pledge of Allegience, then we sang My Country Tis of Thee, and recited the modified Four Way Test. The invocation was given by Vito Pampalona, who gave thanks to the many veterans of all branches of the armed forces, asking that they be kept safe. Lunch was served.

We had 45 members present, and 3 guests: Suzanne Klein from Grosse Pointe Rotary Club, Vito Pionello guest of Sharon Reinke, and Tom Inger guest of Wayne Hodges.
15th HANDSHAKE
Sharon Reinke was proud to announce that Linda Eastman was the winner of this week's 15th Handshake award, enjoy the week without fines Linda!
HAPPY BUCKS
John Modetz was happy about the Veteran's Day event at Veteran's Point in Rochester Hills. Mark Tisdal sang the National Anthem, and was the keynote speaker for the event. Very impressive.
Vito Pampalona was happy about the veteran's breakfast at Stony Creek High School, a very well done event. From the staff and students to the food and speakers, incredible event.
Rachel Aviles was happy about the snow day, her daughter was spending the day with her, helping to spread the poinsettia love.
Pete Duhamel was happy about going to Florida, about a week too late (thanks Lions), see everyone in spring...
President Wayne then asked all Rotarian's that have served in the armed forces to please stand and be recognized.

The Rotarian of the Week was absent (again), further increasing the cash flow (gold of course) through the urinal, er, trophy...
ANNOUNCEMENTS
Ron Diliddo then spoke about the nominations process for next year's boards (Rotary Club and Charities). The following nominations were given for the Club's Board: Tom Jeroense for Treasurer, Christine Hage for Assistant Treasurer, Janet McPeek as a Director at Large, and Steve Oehler as a Director at Large. For the Charities' Board: Ethan Hoffman as a Director at Large. We will be voting on these nominees in December (2nd Tuesday of the month).
Marty Pavlick then spoke about the job shadow program, all names have been distributed, expect to have the students reach out to you this week to solidify plans for the program.
Rachel Aviles then gave us an update on the poinsettia program, with the assistance of her daughter Tolina. Dressed as a human poinsettia, Tolina distributed sweet treats to spike your glucose levels and encourage sales. One week left, the deadline is November 19th!
BIRTHDAYS AND CLUB ANNIVERSARIES
Justin Masters today (November 12th), Vince Mattina on the 17th, and Tom Neveau on the 17th. Happy Birthday!

SHERIFF'S REPORT
President Wayne then asked us four questions about Rotary, any missed questions will cost us $1.50. All questions were intentionally vague and ambiguous, so just put your money on the table. Today, we raised $196 for our charities. Thanks everyone!
PROGRAM
David Eardley then introduced our speaker of the day, Daniel Knudsen, a film director in the Detroit area. Working in the industry for over ten years, he spoke about the film making process, highlighting several of his past and present projects. His current project that he recently completed is Christmas Coupon, currently streaming on multiple online services, please check it out. As a side note, Ms. Sheena Monnin, a previous member of the Rochester Rotary Club, is co-starring in this production. Thanks very much for speaking to us today Daniel, we appreciate it!
