PROGRAM
Yolanda Udelle provided our presentation on the Meadowbrook Center for Learning. The center has been going strong for 30 years and continues to be a huge support for the students in our community. The Center is proud to remain standing through the pandemic while 40% of other nonprofits were not so lucky.
Meadowbrook Center for Learning is a nonprofit that provides tutoring and mentorship to students by current and former educators. Fundraisers are held and grants are written to ensure that economic status does not negate a student’s accessibility to tutoring services. Educators and content are matched specifically to the student’s needs and abilities to foster the most productive environment for each individual student. This uniquely tailored approach has received recognition by the schools and built confidence in the students.
The Center provides tutoring opportunities of all kinds, from occupational therapy to SAT prep. In the words of a former student, “With the confidence they have built in me, I can do anything.”

Yes, this is a challenging time.  But, we are Rotarians, we will rise to the challenge, and our resilience and power of adaptation will prevail over this.  Thanks everyone, have a great week.
