Forty people attended last Tuesday's meeting, enjoying a Mexican buffet of tacos, fajitas, and churros!
Although we did not have a sheriff today, we collected $156 that will be used to underwrite our annual scholarship program.
The President's Appreciation Party on June 29 at the home of Jay and Linda Eastman was a resounding success, with about 60 people in attendance. We thank Linda Eastman and Christine Hage for their culinary skills and generosity in sharing their recipes.
The spotlight was on Kyle Johnson as we thanked him for his leadership in the 2023-24 Rotary year. The Club purchased gift cards to three interesting restaurants for Kyle and his soon-to-be wife, Elizabeth, to savor and enjoy.
We are pleased to report that Don Hobley's 24-year-old son is showing signs of recovery after a recent health scare. Don is eager to return to Rotary as soon as his work schedule allows.
Ernie Schaefer announced that our Summer Social (formerly the Spring Fling) will be held on Thursday, July 25th, at Frank Rewold's Office. Tickets are $30 a person and will soon be available for purchase on our website (rochesterrotaryclub.org). Hors d'oeuvres and adult beverages will be served. Proceeds from the event will benefit Rotary International's Foundation. More information will be available as we get closer to the event, but SAVE THE DATE!
