SHERIFF'S REPORT
Today's sheriff's report was brought to us by David Blair who doled out spring cleaning fines. All fines collected support Rotary Scholarships. Thank you!
Shelly Tyshka provided our program today about Paint a Miracle. This is their 20th anniversary. In those 20 years they've gone from 4 artists at the community house to now over 500 every year. Paint a Miracle is a place where people who have endured some form of disability or injury can express their artistic abilities. After Shelly's father, Dr. Dale Propson, was injured by a drunk driver losing his sight, he and his artistic mentor Helen Cuniff began Paint a Miracle to remind all that disability does not mean inability. The center provides artists a chance to not only make art but also sell it. You can experience this gem of downtown Rochester by attending their annual Spring Luncheon on Monday May 23rd from 11-1:30 at the Royal Park Hotel. We thank you Shelly for sharing with us your father's legacy of love, inclusion, and resilience.
